OXID's official view about removing the copyright notice from the footer
Several times we were asked: "Can I remove the copyright notice from the footer?" As this is not a trivial issue in every open source community, we took time to investigate most aspects and common points of view. Read this blog post to see OXID's official view: http://www.oxid-esales.com/en/news/blog/is-it-legal-remove-oxid-logo-eshop-front-end

OXID at German DMEXCO and MOW events
September was full of events. OXID eSales attended both leading trade fairs for internet marketing and online merchants, DMEXCO and MOW with it's own booths. See the blogpost about DMEXCO and the picture stream from MOW.
German and Swiss User Group meetings
Besides the well-known user group "Lahn-Party" a new event took place: The Swiss user group started it's own meeting in Zürich.

New sections provided on OXIDforge
On OXIDforge, a few new and useful pages have appeared:
- In the tutorial section, you will find two interesting articles about writing modules for the integration of payment methods using the examples alertpay and authorize.net.
- There is a new page called "Security" where you can find information about how to report security issues and how to stay informed about that topic.
- The calendar tracks all known events where you can meet other shop owners, developers, online merchants, partners and OXID employees that are interested in exchanging their experience.
- In a new category, you will find the available language files for the OXID eShop front end. Please feel free to add new pages to share your translation of the shop to an additional language or correct typos in existing files.
